Once you have completed your Personal Health Profile you then need to start making some positive nutritional and lifestyle changes.

Step 1

Take your report shopping with you when you visit your supermarket or local health food store. You can then stock up on everything your report recommends and, equally importantly, you can avoid buying the foods that you shouldn’t eat. If you don’t have it in the house then you can’t eat it; a healthier diet is already in sight!

Step 2

Complete the Personal Health Profile again after 3 months and see the improvements you have made. You will find the changes you have instigated will have had a magnificent and positive effect on your natural wellbeing. So you will need to keep this up! Gillian McKeith recommends that you revisit the Personal Health Profile every time the seasons change; Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.

Step 3

You may wish to take your Personal Health Profile to your local Nutritional Therapist for a face to face consultation. If so, Gillian McKeith recommends that you visit www.bant.org.uk as these Nutritional Therapists must meet the National Occupational Standards for Nutritional Therapy. The consultation you can expect will be different from that which Gillian McKeith offers due to; the number of years studied, their areas of study, the depth of study and their years of experience. www.bant.org.uk offers a minimum standard from which professionals of a Nutritional background can build their knowledge and experience. Please note that Gillian McKeith is not recommending any individual practitioner, but is providing this as a referral service only.

Step 4

There may be cases that need more attention. When you experience these woes it may be necessary to explore your symptoms through a process of elimination. The Personal Health Profile is an excellent ‘starting block’ for this. Use your Key Health Factors as a guide to the next appropriate course of action.

However, even if you have scored low for ‘food sensitivity’ and you have used the Personal Health Profile report to improve your eating habits, yet you still have some symptoms you may find a ‘food intolerance’ test useful.
